SALZBURG, AUSTRIA

We arrived in Salzburg late one morning checked into our dorm-like rooms at the hostel/hotel which was once a convent. After dropping off our bags we proceeded to find the Augustiner Brewery which is a local brewery run by monks.

Bill anticipating the opening of the Augustiner Brewery, we had heard a lot of good things about the brewery (from my Pete & Amy) so we made sure we were one of the first to get a taste of the brew that day.

One of the crazy European things we experienced was paying to go to the bathroom. At the Augustiner Brewery the lady manning the bathrooms must have had me pegged for a stupid American, I seemed to be one of the few that was stopped each and every time while she held out her hand waiting for my coins. Okay so maybe I'd had a few....

  
I opted for the half liter while Bill went for the two full liters, that explains why he and Dan fell asleep at the Mozart concert that night.

Dan tends to be a little camera shy after a few beers.
