Our last five days of the trip were spent in Germany on the autobahn with Dan "Speedracer" Rowley at the helm. We took a little journey up the romantic road to the medieval town of
Rothenburg. Next we were back on our way to München (Munich) for three crazy nights at a celebration the Germans call Octoberfest! In-between the liters of beer we took a day trip to the Neuschwanstein (Disney-like) castle of King Ludwig the II.
After fifteen fun filled days in Europe it came to an end, catching the train to Frankfurt, an overnight ride to Paris and then a thirteen-hour plane flight back to the U.S. All-in-all about twenty-six hours of travel. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I hope you enjoyed our memories.
